PtN is a newer movie tracker created for friends, by friends. Invites to PtN are never found publicly; site ‘recruitment’ is done by hand through Community Reps. Ptn is focused on sharing and downloading so they have instituted a ratio free system that is suited to seeding for longer periods of time to ensure longer seed life.

FTWR (Follow The White Rabbit, or “the Rabbit”) is a very rare tracker that has some decent pre-times and exclusive content. Similar to UK-T and other elusive torrent sites, FTWR uses a phony ‘Rabbit Apparel’ theme as a front for the tracker. Invites aren’t just hard to come by - they’re next to impossible - you’ll have better luck finding Paris Hilton at a MENSA convention.

PeerPortal is a small (and secret) private BT community, consisting of about 6,800 members out of a possible 10,000. Their homepage uses a fake Webhosting company as a front for the underlying tracker, effective enough to throw off anyone who may happen to stumble by.

Surprisingly, the forums are quite barren for such a community-oriented tracker. Invites to PP are hard to come by, as they’re not automatically handed out (in most cases), and Power Users (and up) have to request them from staff.

FtN

FtN is a highly-coveted (and secretive) private tracker that has abandoned the ratio system, making it very similar to a permanent ‘freeleech’. Instead, users must continue seeding torrents for a minimum time of 48 hours (but not contiguously). Presently, torrents list in at 2,300, and there’s nearly 4,700 members out of a 6,000 limit. Finding an invite is tricky, and usually done through FtN “Community Reps” acting as site ‘recruiters’. As expected from an elite tracker, their pre-times on new torrents are exceptionally good, and FtN offers many large custom ‘packs’.

iFi

iFi is a relatively newcomer to the private tracker scene. There’s a tiny member limit of just 1,000 - and of this, there’s only about 325 registered users. The active torrent count sits at under 200, but this doesn’t thwart the high demand for membership to this elite and elusive tracker. The forums, with over 2,500 posts, are unusually busy for such a small group of members, proof that iFi is more about community than it is about the torrents. There’s no ratio system on iFi.
